An unmatched selection of engines ranges from the fuel-sipping Vortec 4.3L V6 with an EPA estimated 20 MPG highway to an extensive lineup of Vortec V8 powerplants to the Duramax 6.6L Turbo-Diesel V8 - the most powerful diesel in its class. Available features include an automatic locking rear differential on all models and GM segment-exclusive All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) on 1500. Cargo Vans can be equipped with the unmatched lifesaving technology of OnStar1 to help keep you safe. A standard Hydra-Matic six-speed automatic transmission on all 2500 and 3500 models includes Tap-Up/Tap-Down driver shift control and auto grade braking.
